Academic ensemble of young musicians from the city on the Neva
The Nevsky Winds Quintet is an ensemble formed from graduates of the St. Petersburg Conservatory and soloists of the city's leading orchestras. The ensemble was founded in 2024 and immediately set itself an ambitious goal to represent Russia at the prestigious ARD international music competition in Munich (Germany).
In September 2024, the Nevsky Winds Quintet became the winner of the ARD competition, winning the III prize and receiving positive reviews from music critics and the German press. In the entire history of the competition, starting in 1952, quintets from Russia have only twice previously been awarded at this event — in 1966 and 2001. It is noteworthy that both times these were quintets from St. Petersburg (Leningrad).
The Nevsky Winds Quintet is proud to continue the traditions of the St. Petersburg Performing School and, given such a successful start to their career, they are optimistic about the future.

Radzevich Georgy Alexandrovich
Born in 1994 in St. Petersburg. In 2012, he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Music School at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Conservatory (taught by Yuri Radzevich). In 2018, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory and completed an assistant internship (class of the Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Kirill Sokolov). Since 2013, he has been a soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theater Orchestra.
Laureate of international competitions, including:
2011 – winner of the XVI Togliatti International Competition of musicians performing on wind and percussion instruments.
2011 – winner of the V Pskov Open International Competition.
2013 – winner of the II prize of the IX International Competition named after Mravinsky (St. Petersburg).

Lev Zhuravsky
Born in 2000 in St. Petersburg. In 2023, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory (class of Grigory Maliev). Participated in master classes by Evgeny Petrov, Heiner Schindler, Rosemary Brambelow, Hedwig Svimberge, Giora Feidman, Olli Leppaniemi and Ralph Manno.
Winner of the St. Petersburg Open Competition for Young Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments (2015), the Fanfars of Petersburg International Open Competition for Performers on Wood and Brass Wind Instruments (2016), the Gnessin International Competition and Festival of Young Performers on Wind and Percussion Instruments in Moscow (2018) and the International Clarinetist Competition and Festival "Happy birthday, maestro!" in Moscow (2019). Winner of the International Clarinet Competition "Weber Clarinet" in Petrozavodsk (2016, II prize; 2021, I Prize), the All-Russian Music Competition (Moscow, 2020; II Prize in the Woodwind Quintet nomination), the Aeolus International Wind Instrument Competition (Dusseldorf, 2022; IV Prize), the Moscow Conservatory International Competition for Wind and Percussion Instruments (2022; III Prize). He received a special prize at the International Competition named after Leos Janacek in Brno (2019). At the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow – St. Petersburg, 2023), he was awarded the III prize and a bronze medal.
He has performed at the Linz Brucknerhaus, the State Academic Chapel of St. Petersburg, the Mariinsky Theatre, the St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk, Tula Regional and North Caucasus Philharmonic Halls, the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow, as well as in Kazakhstan, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Italy, Tanzania, Argentina, the Netherlands and Switzerland. In September 2018, he took part in a tour of Asian countries by the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yuri Bashmet.
Since 2017, he has been participating in the programs of the St. Petersburg House of Music.

Anna Komarova
She was born on August 25, 1995 in the city of Abakan. At the age of 4, she began studying flute and piano at the A.A. Kenel Music School #1 (class of teachers S. V. Permyakova, M. V. Dorina and Honored Artist of the Republic of Khakassia I. N. Nikiforova).
During her studies, she repeatedly became the winner and laureate of city, republican and all-Russian competitions, both in one and the other another specialty. In 2010, Anna entered the Secondary Special Music School of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in the class of Honored Worker of the Russian Federation Irina Pimenova.
In 2014, Anna entered the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in the class of Honored Artist of Russia, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, Associate Professor Valentin Cherenkov.

In 2013, Anna became a laureate of the Maestro Temirkanov Foundation. Since 2014, he has been a scholarship holder and a regular participant in concert programs in German cities of the Hart Foundation. In the summer of 2015, she received an invitation from the Rotary Club to participate in the Bachwoche Festival in Ansbach.
Collaborates with many musical ensembles in St. Petersburg: the Russian Horn Orchestra (2014, performance of A. Vivaldi's cycle "The Four Seasons", 2016 participation in the festival "Crazy Days of Music" in Warsaw, 2017 performance of the Four Seasons at the Bolshoi Theater, Moscow), the Tauride Symphony Orchestra (first performance of the flute concerto by S. Stroikin, 2015), the St. Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra (premiere of the concerto for 2 flutes in May), etc.
In the fall of 2013, Anna became an artist of the Mariinsky Theatre Youth Orchestra, where she worked until 2018.
From 2018 to 2022, she was the 1st soloist of the flute group of the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Alexander Bykov
Alexander Bykov was born in 1991 in Leningrad. In 2017, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory (class of A. A. Isaev), continued his studies at the Conservatory as a trainee assistant (class of A. V. Kazakov). In 2019-2021, he studied at the Graduate School of the Lucerne Higher School of Music (Switzerland) in the oboe class (class of I. Vosyvov).
Participated in master classes of such outstanding oboists as Maurice Burg, David Walter, Francois Lele, Thomas Indermulle, Gregor Witt, Laszlo Hadadi, Alex Klein, Gordon Hunt and others.
He is active in concert activities in Russia and abroad. He has performed as a soloist in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and other European countries.
He performed a number of premieres of works for oboe, including a Concerto for Oboe with the orchestra by D. Anzarokov on the stage of the Berlin Konzerthaus in 2018.

Georgy Pribylov
Georgy Pribylov was born in Minsk. He graduated from the secondary special music school of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, as well as the specialty program at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. He is a trainee assistant at the same educational institution.
In 2012, he was awarded an incentive scholarship from the New Names Foundation (Moscow), and in 2013, an incentive scholarship from the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Support of Talented Youth (Minsk).
In 2015, he participated in the International Summer Academy of Ensemble and Orchestral Culture in Murren (Switzerland).
In 2016, he joined the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yuri Bashmet.
In 2017, he became a laureate of the International Competition "Silver Sounds".
As a member of the Saint Petersburg Winds woodwind quintet, he became a laureate of the X International Competition of the Moscow Conservatory in 2018, and also a laureate of the III All-Russian Music Competition in 2020.
In 2021, he became a laureate of the XII International Competition of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory for performers on wind and percussion instruments.
From 2017 to 2020, he worked at the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra. Since 2020, he has been working in the Honored Collective of Russia, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic named after D.D.Shostakovich.
He leads an active creative life, regularly performing in concert programs in the best halls of St. Petersburg both solo and as part of various ensembles.
